What is a rental number and how is it different from a regular OTP number?
A regular OTP number is a one-time-use number that is returned to the pool after you receive a single SMS. A rental number is exclusively assigned to your account for the full duration you select — from 1 day up to 365 days. You can receive unlimited SMS on it throughout the rental period and no other user can access it while it is active on your account.

What rental durations are available on VaraSMS?
VaraSMS supports rental durations starting from 1 day all the way up to 365 days. You can choose daily (1–6 days), weekly (7–29 days) or monthly (30–365 days) rentals depending on how long you need the number. Pricing varies by country, service and duration selected.

How many SMS messages can I receive on a rented number?
There is no limit on the number of SMS messages you can receive on a rented number. Unlike one-time OTP numbers, rented numbers allow unlimited incoming SMS for the entire duration of your rental period at no additional cost per message.
Can I extend my rental before it expires?
Yes. You can extend your rental directly from the dashboard before the expiry date. Extending keeps the same number assigned to your account for an additional period. The extension cost is deducted from your wallet balance. It is important to renew before expiry — once a number expires it is released and may no longer be available.

Can I cancel a rental and get a refund?
No Rentals can't be cancelled from your dashboard, Refunds are only available if no OTP was received on the assigned number. Once an OTP is successfully delivered, or if the number expires without issue, no refunds will be issued.
How is payment handled for rentals?
All rentals are paid from your VaraSMS wallet balance. The full rental cost is deducted at the time of activation — there are no recurring charges or subscriptions. To rent a number, make sure your wallet has sufficient balance. You can top up your wallet using Korapay, Cryptomus or manual bank transfer.
